Alexandra (8) is a multiple gold award winner and with less than two years of piano study, she has added another beautiful achievement to her growing journey, earning Gold in the Repertoire Class at the North Shore Music Festival.

She performed Carl Czerny’s Etude Op. 599, No. 75, a melodic Moderato study that develops finger independence and evenness of touch, with delicate embellishments, scale like passages, rhythmic shifts and ornaments woven throughout.
Alexandra captured all of these elements with elegance and confidence, bringing clarity and musicality to every phrase.

Mega is an inspiring adult student who studied piano for 3 years as a child and returned to lessons nearly 20 years later. With her dedication and natural musicality, she was ready to perform after only six months of study.

She presented The Spruce by Jean Sibelius (RCM Level 8) at both the Studio Recital and the North Shore Piano Festival, where she earned a Silver Award.

This beautiful miniature is celebrated for its lyrical character and vivid nature imagery. The Lento section unfolds with a melancholic, singing melody, while the Risoluto passage introduces dramatic arpeggiated broken chords, capturing the strength and steadfast presence of the spruce tree.

At the North Shore Festival, she earned Gold in the Classical Group with her Sonatina/Tarantella, a piece inspired by the spirited Italian folk dance.
True to its roots, the Tarantella carries the legend of the “spider bite” dance and the music calls for light touch, quick fingers, and steady control, and she delivered it beautifully.

So proud of her journey. 💕🎹🤩

After six months of anticipation, my student Clara was chosen from many to perform at the Chopin Concert Series award ceremony at Tom Lee Music. At just seven, she’s already playing Chopin and winning gold medals. Quite the beginning! 🤩👌🏻🎹

We closed out the year with a beautiful Winter Recital, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of my students.

Feeling beyond grateful for this journey and all the wonderful moments it’s brought.
